What factors affect the performance of the vacuum generator?

What factors affect the performance of the vacuum generator? Let’s take a look at the following:

  1. Analysis of the characteristics of the pressure Pv at the suction port: The ideal Pv characteristics of the vacuum generator are required to be within the common supply pressure range (P01=0.4——-0.5MPa), and the Pv is at the minimum value, and with the change of Pv1 gentle.
  2. Under the condition that the suction port is completely closed, the relationship between the pressure Pv at the suction port and the suction flow under specific conditions. In order to obtain a more ideal matching relationship between the pressure at the suction port and the suction flow, a multi-stage vacuum generator can be designed to be combined in series.
  3. The air consumption (L/min) of the vacuum generator should be reduced under the premise of meeting the requirements of use. The air consumption is related to the supply pressure of compressed air. The greater the pressure, the greater the air consumption of the vacuum generator.
  4. The length of the diffuser pipe should ensure that the various wave systems at the nozzle outlet are fully developed, so that an approximately uniform flow can be obtained on the outlet section of the diffuser pipe. However, if the pipe is too long, the friction loss of the pipe wall increases. Generally, it is reasonable for the plumber to be 6-10 times the diameter of the pipe. In order to reduce the energy loss, an expansion section with an expansion angle of 6°–8° can be added to the outlet of the straight pipe of the diffuser.
  5. The adsorption response time is related to the volume of the adsorption chamber (including the diffusion chamber, adsorption pipeline and suction cup or closed chamber volume, etc.), and the leakage of the adsorption surface is related to the required pressure at the suction port. For a certain pressure requirement at the suction port, if the volume of the adsorption chamber is smaller, the response time is shorter; if the pressure at the suction port is higher, the adsorption volume is smaller, and the surface leakage is smaller, the adsorption response time is also shorter; If the adsorption volume is large and the adsorption speed is fast, the nozzle diameter of the vacuum generator should be larger.
