● The sorption response time can be roughly determined using a calculation method or a graphic method

The relationship between the vacuum pressure and the response time after the supply valve (switching valve) operates is as follows.
Vacuum system circuit
When a soft workpiece such as vinyl paper or sheet is sucked, the workpiece may be deformed due to vacuum pressure. Due to wrinkles, a small suction cup and a ribbed suction cup should be used, and a low vacuum pressure is necessary.
Vacuum pressure and response time after the supply valve (switching valve) is actuated
When the suction cup is pressed against the workpiece, do not add impact and large force. The suction cup is deformed, cracked and worn quickly. The pressing of the suction cup is within the deformation range of the lip, and the ribs and the like are lightly pressed. Especially the small diameter suction cup, the positioning should be correct.
Method for absorbing response time according to calculation formula
The suction response time T1, T2 is obtained by the following equation.
The conductance of the piping is obtained from the data “tube inner diameter conductance (selected table e)”.
